Sweetcorn Loaf Savoury loaf for afternoon snacks, or with soup.

Ingredients

  • 500 g flour
  • 15 ml baking powder
  • 3 ml salt
  • 5 ml paprika
  • 415 g can Creamstyle Sweetcorn
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped sundried tomatoes
  • 250 ml Ideal milk
  • 1 egg

Method

  • Sift the flour, baking powder, salt and paprika together.
  • Stir in the sweetcorn and sundried tomatoes.
  • Mix the milk and egg together, stir into the mixture.
  • Pour into a greased loaf dish and bake at 190 degrees for about 60 min.
  • Optional: Sprinkle lightly with paprika and coarse salt before baking.
