Waffles Serve with syrup!
Ingredients
- 375 ml Cake Flour
- 15 ml Baking Powder
- 2 1/2 ml Salt
- 10 ml Sugar
- 250 ml Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 37 ml Butter (or Margarine)
Method
- Separate the eggs, and melt the butter or margarine.
- Sift together the dry ingredients and add the sugar.
- Add the milk gradually, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the beaten egg yolks and then the melted butter.
- Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Cook the waffles on a hot waffle iron.
- Serve hot with syrup or honey.
Note - this recipe is sufficient for about 10 waffles.
