Apple Tart Apples in a tart!

Ingredients

  • 1 tin Pie Apples
  • 1 T Brown Sugar
  • 175 ml Cake Flour
  • 1 t Baking Powder
  • 150 ml Sugar
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 5ml Sunflower Oil
  • 1 Egg

Method

  1. Pour the apples into a pie dish and sprinkle with the brown sugar.
  2. Sift together flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  3. Combine the milk, oil and egg and mix well.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients, and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the mixture over the apples.
  6. Bake in a moderate oven (180 deg C) until firm (35 - 40 min).
  7. Serve with fresh whipped cream.
