Chilli Popcorn Munchy, healthy snack to enjoy with an afternoon movie.
Ingredients
- 50 g Lion Super Pop Popcorn
- Salt to taste
- 100 ml sunflower oil
- 3 to 5 fresh chillies
Method
- Chilli Oil Preparation:
- Warm the oil in a saucepan and add the chillies.
- Leave to cool, then pour into a bottle and leave for 2 - 3 days before use.
- Popcorn Preparation:
- Pour a little cooking oil in a pot with a lid and heat.
- When hot, add a single layer of popcorn, covering the bottom of the pot.
- Cover with a lid.
- Popping will soon start.
- Remove immediately from stove once all the corn has popped.
- Sprinkle with salt if desired.
- Butter may be added.
