Crustless Milk Tart Easy milk tart, forms it's own crust.
Ingredients
- 25 ml melted butter or margarine
- 3 eggs, separated
- 125 ml sugar
- 250 ml cake flour
- 5 ml baking powder
- 1 ml salt
- 5 ml vanilla essence
- 750 ml milk
Method
- Beat the butter, egg yolks and sugar together well.
- Sift the dry ingredients together and fold into the first mixture.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla.
- Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites and pour mixture into a baking dish, approximately 30 cm x 19 cm and 4 cm deep.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
- Bake immediately at 190 degrees C for 40 minutes.
- Serve hot.
