Crustless Milk Tart But how does it stay in one piece?
Ingredients
- 4 Eggs, Separated
- 250ml Sugar
- 25ml Butter (or Margarine), Melted
- 1l Milk
- 250ml Cake Flour
- 5ml Baking Powder
- 1 1/2 ml Salt
Method
- Beat the egg yolks with the sugar, add the melted butter or margarine.
- Sift the dry ingredients together, and add alternately with milk to egg and sugar mixture.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
- Pour into a greased ovenproof dish and bake at 180 deg. C for 1 hour.
- Sprinkle with ground cinnamon or nutmeg.
- Serve with cream.
