Savoury Potatoes with Cheese Another delicious way to enjoy potatoes
Ingredients
- 500 ml boiled mashed potatoes
- 125 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- 5 ml salt
- 125 ml grated cheese
Method
- Add milk to the potatoes and mix well.
- Beat the eggs, and salt and mix with potatoes.
- Add grated cheese and pour into a greased, fireproof baking dish.
- Bake for 30 to 45 minutes in a moderate oven at 180 degrees C till golden brown on top.
- Optional - add half a small onion, finely chopped, to the mixture before baking.
- Optional - sprinkle with more grated cheese and a light dusting of paprika before baking.
